Easy access off State Route 500. We arrived to find the parking area for checking in blocked off. The parking lot was not that full and it wasn't a long walk from where we parked to get to the front doors; however, having the covered area blocked off doesn't make this feel welcoming. I was assuming they had an event that was going to take place under the covered area, but the whole time we were there I never saw anything going on besides it being blocked off. Check in was quick and friendly. The location has kind of a timber lodge like feel. I liked staying here that last time we were here, but this time it seems like the decor is getting somewhat beat up and not being maintained. Our room was decently sized. The lighting is better than average. The room was also a little beat up. There were crumbs on the desk and chair. There was hair on the bedding. I liked that we had a fridge, microwave, and comfortable bed. The shower and bathroom area was nice, but the shower could have better flow. I liked how there was a sink inside the bathroom and another one outside. There were no luggage racks in the room, and no natural place to put suitcases. The room was very quiet and I couldn't hear the nearby freeway, nor noise from the hallway or other rooms. One of my cohorts was given a room key for an occupied room. Two other cohorts has ants in their rooms. The food was good. The restaurant didn't open until 0800 and breakfast on the first day took about 45 minutes. With a little better care, this place would be rated higher.

This is our 4th stay at the Heathman and it was as excellent as always. The staff overall have been the nicest, friendliest and most welcoming I've ever experienced. The rooms are large, beds comfortable and the surroundings are so beautiful. I love the sounds of the birds in the hallways. The restaurant is excellent as well and the servers are so accommodating and fun. I would say that the menu choices are not quite as good as in the past and not quite as amazingly good as in the past but it is still very good.

Nice hotel. Maid stopped by every day. Hudson Grill was enjoyable. They were able to occomodate my vegan diet. They did charge me an extra $12 per night when I checked in. So much for the reduced price through Trip Advisor. That was a surprise.

Our family of 5 stayed on Saturday night(3-16-24), My daughter & son in law booked the room here because it was near where my grandson had a gymnastics meet. When we arrived to our room(#324)we were greeted by some unwanted guests(Ants) crawling on the windowsill & on the heating/air-conditioning unit, we immediately called the front desk & they sent up a maintenance guy who looked at the issue & let us know that they would take care of the issue either by moving us to another room or getting traps set out, he said he would check with the desk & let us know which he did, when he came back he said that sadly moving us wasn't an option & the spray they normally use wasn't an option either because it was "hazardous & smells bad" so someone was going to run out & get some traps, about 30 mins. later the man came & sprayed the room(not sure what happened to getting traps?) The man apologized for the ant problem & said that it had never been an issue before but I'm not sure I believe that...Let's just say our stay here was less then enjoyable! No one asked how are stay was but I sure wished they would have!!!

This place is lacking in customer service and amenities. We stayed for two nights over Christmas because we have family in Vancouver. We had two rooms. They never cleaned our rooms despite one of the housekeepers watching us leave our rooms. We tried to get breakfast and were told no - the restaurant was booked all day, room service was suspended and take out was also suspended. I have never heard of a hotel not making arrangements to make sure its actual guests can eat. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it has a restaurant and we have children. It would have been nice to be informed at check in that no food would be available. Then they charged us an amenities fee of $35 per room which was never disclosed when we made the reservation. The front desk was not helpful and borderline rude. The place looks tired and the beds are very hard. Will not stay here again.
